Bodybuilding Health Research

Hey Mick,
I was going to ask you a question concerning the advisability (need?) of using Creatine when on a cycle. I know it’s fool hearty to trust anyone or anything completely. But I can say from reading your books that if there is anyone I do trust to have bodybuilders’ best interest at heart it is you.

I absorbed your books 3 times now (it’s always in the background on my computer for reference) and have gained an entirely new outlook, motivation and drive in my bodybuilding. I don’t have any plans to compete. But reading your work has given me the incentive to believe that if (when?) I decided to do so, I would have a friend and a body of knowledge to draw on that would enable me to do my best.

Thank you for being out there – please don’t stop the great work. If there is anything we can do to help support *you* let us know.
Joseph

P.S. I know it’s a bit of a cheek, but I have a dream of having the pleasure of inviting you out for a pint the next time I’m back home in England. I hope the Gods allow.

Yo Joe,
Thanks for your kind words – see, flattery gets you everywhere! Creatine? Personally I am very wary indeed of ALL supplements until I have tried them myself. Maybe thats why supplement companies just wont advertise with me so fuck em anyway…!

BUT creatine I have extensively tried and tested in all and every way possible and I think that during a cycle it is a vital part of the success and that is my honest opinion. Some take it willy nilly – any old how, or have come up with specialized set ups and detailed input times when to and not to take it! A load of balls to be honest!

For me? Well I, and my clients, fair much better taking a small amount in the morning, about 1/3 of a teaspoon to feed the muscle system. Then, I fill up a drinks bottle with a little juice, add a half teaspoon, plus a couple of dessert spoons of glutamine and drink this before, especially during and after the workout.

Shit hot too! You will grow like a weed mate. Explaining creatine in a “Layman’s Guide” way, it’s like standing in a grow bag. The muscles are kept fed directly as they should be. Muscles in training are used for short power burts, that is what creatine actually gives out – and then some. A pint? It’s no dream mate – the pleasure will be all mine – hic!

Dear Mick,
I am a ‘part time’ bodybuilder, so to speak because I do other sports. I have used steroids to lose weight several times and nothing has happened – what am I doing wrong? I have used winstrol and primo on my last cycle but lost nothing. I admit that my diet has not been up to scratch, but I also think that they (steroids) are not all they are made up to be – do you agree? Where have I gone wrong? Great mag by the way.

Gary.

Hey Gary,
What do you want from this part time sport mate? In your own words you say that your diet was not up to scratch, so come on man think about what you are saying. Steroids can be good, but give them a chance and don’t expect them to do all the work. Deca is one steroid that can actually assist in weight loss whilst at the same time promote growth BUT even that one cannot do the job by itself. You have to move your ASS for fucks sake!

Using bodybuilding OR weight training as a “part-time” sport in conjunction with other activities is OK so long as you are giving it all you can. I think that you are not mate!

Train Strong and God Bless!!!
Mick Hart.

I actually am in the same situation as Joseph. But, I have completely stopped my supplements this past year as I was not making any gains. I’ve finally put on 15lbs. and am now training “hard”. But, a bit fearful of starting the supplements up again.

I am 58 years young. So, I have to be conscious of anything that may adversely affect my overall health.

Have you any advise?

Maurice

Hey Mick,

Been getting your info on short links -tnx for that, my server is small- and I am ready to get more juice from your experience. I bought LG2S I and II, and got enough info to redo my whole approach to lifting.

Btw, tamox was the only way I could be a father for the second (third? my firsts are twins!) time, so there’s nothing I could say against roids, when properly used.

My question is: how would be an advisable cycle to lose weight (not “definition”, I mean fucking fat) for a 36 about to be 37 y.o. man who will be starting to lift weights again, after two years?

Keep posting!
