Hi Mick,

Please can you give me some advice. I am considering taking Winstrol (15 mg per day for a period of 2 weeks/1 wk off then restart for a further 2 weeks. That will be it then for a while as I’ll revert to over the counter supplements. This is said to be toxic to the liver because of the way its made up. The leaflet inside the box is enough to put you off for life-words such as peliosis hepatis, liver cell tumours, increase in bad cholesterol and decrease in good, and so it goes on.Although we are warned of what can happen – no one puts a timescale on when the side effects are likely to occur; 2 days 1 week 3 months etc. As winstrol is a DHT derivitive can it contribute to hair loss. I am 50 and have a good head of hair. I would appreciate your advice please.

Hey Bill, The dosages and type of gear that you ask about are low toxic anyway. The dosages are so low that you may well be struggling to get any reaction to be honest this is also taking into account the two weeks on and two off. As for the side effects? True, they sound nasty, but have you seen the side effects, anti-histamines can bring for example, or even paracetamol? Check out asprin for a scary read. Suggest a read of the Laymans Guides mate. They will put you right.

However, I can see that you are little wary of taking steroids for the reasons that you state which is no bad thing to be fair. But to be honest, to go on for a couple of weeks then off for a week to return for a further 2 weeks is not really worth the while in my opinion.

However I have always been a believer in the careful approach but this could be be a little too careful mate. If you are that scared of the gear, it may not be a good idea to go down this road.

If you are going to do the job then go for it my friend.

I recently read Laymen’s I and II and I am wanting some advice on which would be a better stack to start off with for my first cycle. I have done quite a bit of research on different “gears” and I just want to make sure that what I am thinking about using would be a good choice for someone like myself I have been training for about 2 1/2 to 3 years, and I am 5’10″ about 195. I am looking for both size, and definition.

I am considering using a stack of Andriol & Deca or a stack of Dianabol & Deca. Which of these would you suggest, or would you use a different stack? PS- Could I also just use Deca by itself and get the results that I want?

Hey Mike,

I would choose one or the other – size or condition. Best to get the size THEN condition after, that is the norm. I would go for dianabol and deca which would be far better than deca on it’s own.

But self experimentation does not hurt and you could grow quite well – you never know. Just remember to keep your carb levels low to medium and you will not put on as much fat. That is the only real way to gain size and condition but it is a slow process.

Dear Mick,

I am a 17 year old bodybuilder. I have been training for 2 years and now I am seriously thinking about taking steroids. People keep telling me they are dangerous for teenagers. I would like you to tell me just what is the difference between a 17 year old taking steroids and 27 year old taking them. Can you explain because every where I look it tells me taking steroids at 17 is dangerous but no one explains why they are, maybe you can?

Hey Gary,

With pleasure. Not so much dangerous as unwise. You see, up to the age of about 18-19 more or less, your own testosterone levels are working overtime, pumping out more than you will ever need. If you take in more than you will need NOW, then there is a good chance that you could slow or stop your own NATURAL testosterone levels from doing the job that they were designed for.

It is always best to let nature do it’s job, then when your growwing period has basically ended it’s peak, that is the time to seek further therapy IF it is needed. Best advise ever is to keep on training naturally UNTIL you can physically see the gains stop, but make sure that they have stopped, then steroids can be considered. That is the reason why my friend.

This is Gary, if you don’t remember me I asked the question about me taking steroids at 17 years old, and also thank you for your reply I am now going to carry on training naturally for a while. I have 2 questions for you, the first one is whenever I train my bicep they don’t seem to get any bigger or hurt the next morning unlike every thing else, is they any exercise which you feel is a good one for hurting them.

My second question is whenever I train a specific muscle like chest or triceps they some times take days to heal and are not heeled in time for my next workout. Is there any supplements or advise on how to heel faster that you can give me.

Hi Gary,

It seems to me that your training system is a little imbalanced. Either that or you are simply giving priority to on body part over another. When training you must make sure that you swap things around from time to time.

For instance, if you normally start off with legs and finish with arms; change things around from week to week and start at what would normally be the end of the workout. Make sure also that you are training the WHOLE arm and not just the biceps.

Define the word tricep meaning ‘tri’ = three muscles as opposed to biceps ‘bi’ = two muscles. So it makes sense to hit both the upper and rear parts of the upper arms.

As for making them “hurt”. You don’t necessarily have to be part crippled every time that you train; making sure that you hit each body part as hard as the next will ensure that you are going the right way.

Making mistakes now as in training imbalances, can, in the long run, be detrimental to your outcome in the future unless you correct them now.

Hi Mick, 61 yrs old now and back in full training after recent ops to the Oesophagus Sphincter and making good gains.

Read some decent reports on different Forums re HYGETROPIN and being compared favourably against such as jintropin and others. Contemplating using some and purchasing direct from the Company in China.

Any reviews your end on this product.

I am well up to date on importing for own personal use, HO Documents and safe amounts tyo inport etc.

Hi Mick,
I have been weight training for 5 years (now 54) – pretty fit, bit on the lean side (73kgs & 5′ 8″ height). Have heard of testosterone for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and as a general booster to falling testosterone levels with age. So, here’s a couple of questions from the older fraternity of dedicated amateur bodybuilders:
1. What would you suggest as a longish cycle of HRT to keep me in good nick (whilst improving my bench-pressing capabilities).
2. I live in Australia – not an easy place to get gear. Any suggestions as to how I could get a hold of the genuine stuff such that I could take minimum doses to keep my body in top shape over the long term whilst improving my performance in the gym.
P.S. I probably do more cardio activities than I should ie runing and cyclling as well which doesn’t help my end bodybuilding goals.

Hi Mick,

I’m considering taking my first cycle but with a few reservations. I’ve done a few bodybuilding shows in the past (when I was in my early 20′s) and have never taken gear. That said, I’m now 48 yrs old 6’8″ tall and weight 280 lbs. I am finding it very difficult to shed the fat around my abs. The typical routines that I have used when younger to strip away the fat are simply not working anymore even with a relatively clean diet. I’ve got the size from 30 years of very consistent training but really want (need) to cut up. My additional concern is that I am also a type 1 diabetic but very stable. Can you suggest the appropriate gear that would allow me to maintain my size but strip away the fat? I do have your laymans guides and understand that the gear is safer for us older guys. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Mick, i’ve recently just started on one of your cycles from laymen’s 1 and after only a short couple of weeks i’ve grown quite a bit.I am on the mass stack-sus and deca once a week,ski slopeing the dianobol, and taking 20mg of Novaldix a day.I spoke to you on the blower a while back about how long to take Novaldix after my 10 week course and you gladly pushed me in the right direction.I have just one more question to ask Mick and that is about HCG.Do i really need to take this a week or so after discontinuation of the gear, or would it be wiser just to take natural test boosters such as Tribulis and ZMA supplements. hello mick a have a problem with my pct??? i taking 400 mg primobolan in 10 weeks and 25mg dianabol each day the first 5 weeks..and the last 4 weeks 3 amp winstrol 50 mg each week.. here is my problem.. my dealer says. after a cykle you need some hcg 2000 iu every 5 day in 20 days..so 8000 iu..and after nolvadex 40 mg in 2 weeks and 20 mg the last 2 weeks ist 42 pills nolva.. is that fine or is it to mutch.. its my first cykle and i am 31 years..great side thanks….

I’m 40. I was in good shape aerobic and anaerobically until Oct. 2000. I had a head on car accident. I lost the use of my legs. A lower back double fusion failed. I have titanium rods and hardware holding me together. I had a two level neck fusion that worked OK. I have worked hard on Rehabbing and have gotten the use and feeling back in one leg. The Oxycotin and many other drugs I have to take everyday id killing me slowly. I want to get away from the meds but the pain is to great.
I have an idea that is basically physics. If I build up my back trunk and upper body it will hold me up with my muscles not the steel in my back. I have discussed this with some doctors and they agree but still are scared to give me testosterone or steroids. I don’t know why. They know they are safer than most of thee meds I take. Can you PLEASE HELP ME!!! My life sucks the way it is. I don’t want to live in pain anymore I wont spend the rest of my life this way. I need to know what to do and what to take. Its going to be super painful to work out but I would rather burn out than fade away. I have already started swimming and working on Rehab stuff. No weight lifting yet. I’m not ready but hope to slowly work on it and acheive what I have to. Its the only way I can have a semi normal life.

Please HELP ME if you can. I know your the one to go to. If you cant help me then I don’t know what I would do.

Dear Mick,

I am a 25 year old body-builder from India and have been working out since last 2 years and i weigh in at 185 pounds.Bodybuilding to me is only a hobby that i took up for staying fit but i follow the routines very seriously, my actual profession is Telecom/ Network engineering.

I am planning to take steroids (Deca) for muscle gain, and the cycle i ahve selected is 50mg – 100mg – 150mg – 200mg every 7th day goign up and then coming back from 200mg – 150mg – 100 mg – 50mg, i have few question which i request you to comment on as i am very impressed by the articles written by you, the questions are as follows,

1. Is the cycle selected by me is suitable according to my body weight.
2. apart from protien what else do i need to take with Deca.
3. Is there any side effect on the muscle gain if i have sex with my Girlfriend during this period when i am taking Deca.
4. Am i suppose to refrain from Tea Or Coffee as they contain Caffein which is bad for Deca (this i was told by a Body builder in my Gym).

Hi Mick,

Been working out hard of late, I want to gain muscle size and become even more lean. However as a person with HIV and on therapy, Iam a little woried about starting a steroid stack. I have not discused this with my consultant but want to, but am not sure of the reaction I would get. Are there any articles out there that relate to my problem? I want to gain size and get a better shape but feel that my status is stopping me.

Hi Mick!
I live in Montréal and my english writting is not ” up-to-date ” yet. I’m 31 and I’m working out since 10 years for sure and never competiting in any contest. I started boxing since two years and I’m considering taking my first cycle. I already bought British Dragon’s Decabol and Boldabol, plus russians proprionates. I also got Proviron from Innovagen and A.P.L for post-cycle with Clomid (also from Innovagen). I thought it would be a good idea mixing muscular trainning and boxing, because I love to be shape and I don’t want to be too much bigger ( 6′ height and 205 pounds actually ).With work and familly, I can train only 3 times/week. What do you think of that with very low doses?

Hi,

Mick could you please tell me a good strting point for Dbol PCT I have read many things about it, I have always gained really well on Dbol and decca in the past when I was 19 back in 1999 and there was never anybody talking about PCT back then at my gym anyway!

I don’t seem to have gottain any reaction eg bitch tit’s but now I’m 27 and back into my training I was condisering doing a new corse!

The last time I did a corse was two years agao and since then I have been going naturale and was concentrating on my cardio for a bit.

Now I’m ready to pack on the MUSCLE please tell me how much Nolv I need to take..

I will be on 20mg stepping up to 40mg of dbol pinks and then tappering them down and one shot of Decca a week

I have never done a PCT before but I feel I might need it as I have never done Dbol above 25mg a day for 6 weeks having the weekend off for my liver to recover.. I was told to do that also I would like to hear your coments on the 5days on two days off method fo liver values??

hey man, love the direct no horseshit approach,about time we had an informed opinion!!! im 36, just getting back to training, approx 18 stone,any suggestions on how many how long should take d.bol for? i have some 10mg tabs,used to jab but want to stick to tabs,many thanks, keep it real mick.

do you see a benefit to stacking some of the current “prohormones” available with an injectable like Equipoise? Would you be of the opinion that this is as good or at least comparable to an oral/injectable stack of the “real thing”?

hi mick.
myself and a few friends have decided to take a course of methandrabol.i will be having 25mg per day and decided to take it 5 days a week for 2 months and use the weekend to let the steroid run through the system.is this a good way to take this type of steroid or could you recomend a better way?

Hi mick, i think its my first time that i’m gonna contact you a my trainer. i am reading your article from more than 2 years in my mail that i given in this also, i have one question or my need you can say it………. that…. if i start ANABOL tabs then tell what would be the method of taking tabs and what would be the effect of ANABOL on my body. is it safe if take oral tabs for a short time? is yes then please refer me the time table when and on which time i can take these tabs? still i’m not married and my age is 28 from India. waiting your raply at full pelt. I am 62 yrs old and I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and sometimes more, My question is, can a guy my age take the gear and be alright with a regular dose or should I even think about taking? Im just waiting for the right job sos I can have some extra duckets to send you for the gear, and to order and receive the laymans guides, although you send me a great deal of info on pc and I know we all appreciate the mail you send.
